Neil Sparkes is a poet, musician and visual artist. A founding member of world music pioneers Temple of Sound and a former member of Transglobal Underground, Neil has recorded with Peter Gabriel, The Stranglers & Jah Wobble amongst many others. His poetry has been included in several anthologies published by Billy Childish.

Idle Alarms features 5 poems from Neil's forthcoming collection "Xerox Sonnets & X-Ray Blues” published by Hesterglock Press. Recorded across the wires in April - May 2020 the tracks feature Terry Neale, Sparkes long term musical companero and guitarist Dale Farrow.

Released on Friday 6th November as a 5 track 45rpm lathe cut 7" cut by soundhog @ Plastidisc.
