Fukko The Clown takes a brutal swipe at entitled yet woefully inadequate leadership executed via a barrage of ferocious drums, psychotic synths, driving fuzz bass & a swirl of guitar drone, featuring bassist + guitarist Neil Whitehead from motorik rockers vert:x and vocals by Peter Hope (The Box / Richard H. Kirk / Sufferhead).
The 7" includes an 8-page booklet of specially commissioned Fukko art by Gerry Carnelly plus stills from the promotional video and two other tracks - 'The Crossfell Phase', a slab of industrial, drum heavy dub with rasping, freeform sax by Tim Hill (Tongues of Fire) and 'Results', built from layers of distorted piano and recordings made inside a busy hospital ward during the UK’s first lockdown.
The tracks are early salvos from the third Revbjelde LP 'Amicus' due out late spring 2021 and the first new material since 2020’s critically acclaimed Hooha Hubbub LP and Actualities 7”.

I was seeking a comprehensive update, both in terms of quantity and quality, regarding the music I greatly enjoyed during the mid-1980s. I discovered an abundance of options. sweetsweetmusic

So wonderfully put together you don't realize the ingenuity behind some of the sound sources until you read the liner notes. Another fine addition to an increasingly expanding Radiophonic-like world. Anthony Childs
